Developing a Solid Foundation for Becoming a Multi-Cultural Congregation

This anti-racism awareness workshop introduces important groundwork for white congregations that want to move towards becoming appropriately multi-cultural in ministry, mission and membership. The training includes Bible study and exploration of issues of race and white privilege, based on a definition of racism that is understood worldwide. Open to adults and high school age youth. The trainers are Yvonne Platts and Sharon Williams of the Damascus Road Anti-Racism program. (See fmc-online.org for further information about the Damascus Road program.)

Sign-in and refreshments begin at 8:30am; program begins promptly at 9:00am.
