A Christ-Centered Peace Church
Our Vision:
We at First Mennonite Church of Allentown believe God calls us to be followers of Jesus Christ
and, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to grow as a community of grace, joy, and peace, so that
God's healing and hope flow through us to those around us.
We are committed to:
- being a Christ-centered congregation
- spiritual growth through worship, prayer, and the study of God's Word
- our Anabaptist/Mennonite heritage of being peacemakers both locally and globally
- welcoming all individuals who choose to share in mutual encouragement, care, and
accountability
- join with each other in service and outreach to those around us
- be in fellowship with other local congregations
- being good stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us
